Best Buy is an authorized Apple reseller and has a reseller partnership with Apple, but they are no longer an Apple authorized service partner. So, if you get any work done on your Apple computer from Best Buy and it becomes damaged from improper handling or whatever else might occur, it is not covered under the 1-year Apple limited warranty. It is covered under whatever warranty Best Buy provides at the time.
It's best to get your Apple products handled at an authorized service center or through Apple's own technicians.
