The screwdrivers are those most commonly used, and the auxiliary tools are useful as well. My only complaints are minor. The first is that some of the tools don't stay in your places when you close up the case, and the second is that the zipper on the case is hard to close when you open it all the way (i.e. Around the corner onto the back of the case).

I've used it to get inside to replace RAM and hard drives, and it fits all the screws you may need to remove. Well worth the $$, which is very reasonable. Every item in the case has a slot, and when you are done, zip up the case to safely contain all the tools so that nothing gets lost. I've used this kit too many times to count. I watched the video with instructions for the 17' and bought the Newer Technology's 11 Piece Tool Set and then I found out that only the #00 Philips screwdriver fits. The Torx #6 is way to big. You need a Torx #4.
Determine if #6 works for your Mac. I had to replace my optical drive and wanted to change my disk to SSD.
I got all the parts in (optical drive, SSD, tool set). Then I got stuck after removing memory cover and memory. The next two screws were Torx #4 but the video said Torx #6. For me, and the model listed above, I would have preferred Torx #4 and Torx #5 (found out I needed the Torx #5 as well).
If only, then I would give it 5 stars. They are magnetized drivers so, you don't loose those tiny screws, and the quality is very good. The case is nice as well, but it doesn't hold the tools well. This could have been a bit better. I would recommend this item to a friend! Good range of screw drivers and I particularly appreciated the tweezers for removing those loosened screws in tight places and then replacing them when reassembling. The Powerbook tutorials recommend a # 00 (zero) phillips screwdriver to remove the screws and a T6 Torx driver. I already had a screwdriver that fit perfectly to the screws as it has a nice bite to the heads so really just wanted the torx and I thought the kit would be nice to have for any other small, electronic repairs. One problem was the # 00 phillips does not grab the head of the screws whatsoever as the tip looks dull under magnifying glass. I tried the #2 head and no luck either. So the quality of the phillips drivers are not very good considering the screwdrivers are not machined accurately.
I do not want to risk stripping the heads of anything either. The torx tool fits nicely but wish the screwdrivers were better quality on the tips.
I might return for refund. I do like the zippered, nylon case.
